It was exactly two years ago that Bike Baron was released into the App Store.

Today there's over 5 million players worldwide who have created 500 000 user levels! It's amazing number of levels and some of the best levels have been featured in the game.

Bike Baron coming to MAC on November 29th!

After secretly working on MAC version of Bike Baron for last few months, we can finally announce it! It will be available from Apple App Store on November 29th. As for our iOS version of the game we plan to update the mac version with new levels and stuff.

We can't wait for you to try it out and we are looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Uber Cute Gebetto Plushies

This week we received the first prototype plushies of Gebetto:

Now we're thinking about ordering a bigger batch of Bike Baron themed plushies. So the question is how many of you would be willing to get one of these?

The smaller is about the size of an iPhone. The bigger one is pretty much the same height as an iPad. The material is very fluffy, just like a real Gebetto!

The cost would be around 10-20 dollars but that is subject to change because we're not yet sure about all the expenses.

Extra levels discounted to $0.99!

To celebrate one million sales of Bike Baron around the world we decided to put the Santa Pack on sale for $0.99! Santa Pack includes two new characters and will unlock 10 extra levels in the game. There will be also more levels coming in future updates for all Santa Pack owners.

You can purchase Santa Pack from the characters selection screen, just select one of the Santa Pack characters and tap the Buy button.

We are also working on next free update that will bring more levels for everyone.

Update 6 is here and the sheep is at your disposal in the level editor!

Winning levels of the level creation contest have been added to the game!

1st place winner is Vouhake with level called "Don't Stop"
2nd place winner is aahoo- with "the Verdict"
3rd place winner is Cheddar Moon with "The High Road"

- Sheep is in the level editor and it makes a sound!
- App size has been optimized below 20MB so it's almost twice as small!

Update is out! Fixing problems.

Greetings!

The new update is out. This game version 1.6 adds one more level and was quickly submitted after we learned that some people were having problems installing the previous update that was launched a week before.

If you are still having problems installing, I recommend restarting your device and then trying again. It has come to my knowledge that most of the time a restart fixes these kind of problems. If you still have a problem you can send me a detailed description explaining how the problem occurs, what's your iOS version, your device, etc.

EDIT: Instead of updating the App with your device, try downloading the newest update on PC or Mac and then sync iPhone/iPad/iPod to iTunes. This should work if you still have problems updating the newest version.

Problems with the update

Hello everyone!

As some of you have already noticed, there seems to be a problem to get the newest update working for some people. We are aware about this issue and are investigating further. There is nothing wrong with the update itself, but the update process is not working properly in some countries. Sadly there is no waterproof solution for this since it is something that is out of our hands. We received some reports saying that it started working after a while for others, while for others it still remains broken.

We submitted a new update this morning to get around this issue. The new update contains 1 new level and the main purpose for the update is to replace the current update instead of adding lots of content.

We apologize for the inconvenience! Sit tight, help is on the way! :)

Level Creation Contest Results!

The moment you all have been waiting for is now, the announcement of winners in our Level Creation Contest. The overall quality of the levels was very high and it was great to see all those creative Baron twisting rollercoasters! We had tons of fun!

Choosing the winner was tricky, but in the end what made the difference between the top 3 and the rest of the levels was the amount of polish when dynamic objects, bombs and ice were used.

In the reply you should say the level code for your level and your Game Center user name (not your account email, naturally). This way we can ensure that the level was made by you and not by someone else.

In case you don't have a GC user account, you can either create one or post your level code and real name as a reply to the contest entries thread.

Remember, in order to the level to show on our server with your user name, you need to be logged in GC when you start the game and create your level! You have until January 12th, 2012 (12.00 UTC +2 timezone) to post your entry.

After the submit time is over, we are going to publish lists of top entries in the competition, so that people can play and enjoy your creations!

The winners will be announced on January 24th, 2012. We will contact the 1st place winner through our forums for shipment details.
